Epicenter began in 2009 as a program of the Green River Positive Action Community Team (PACT), a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. In September 2014, Epicenter received designation from the IRS as an independent charitable organization, separate from PACT. All tax filings (Form 990s) prior to September 2014 are included in PACT’s overall reports. Epicenter filed its first independent Form 990 at the end of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.
Epicenter fully supports the principles of the Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968), as amended, which generally prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents of legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), and handicap (disability). In addition, Epicenter is required to comply, in all respects, with all state and federal laws.
