Our non-profit is selling our land on Broadway (no, not the Epicenter building!). Across the street from Epicenter, the Community Center was located in a historic building which was condemned about fours years ago, and was torn down two years ago. The land has been sitting vacant since demolition, which is a shame. So, we’re selling the property! We’re hoping someone (or some business) will purchase the land and continue our Broadway beautification project. Currently, we’ve renovated the Epicenter building, helped clean-up the Garage, and assisted in the demolition (and clean-up) of the old Community Center building. Our fingers are crossed for a purchaser who wants to building a mixed-use structure. Apartments on Broadway would be ideal since they would be located next to the only grocery store in town, the famous Ray’s Tavern, the Epicenter, and the Amtrak station! Oh, the potential!!!
