Green River Rocks

April 1 @ 6:00 pm - April 3 @ 3:00 pm

Green River Rocks (formerly the “Rock & Mineral Festival”) is a free, educational event that is open to the public. Hosted annually in early Spring in Green River, Utah, this three day long festival features guests speakers, field trips led by regional experts, and a pop-up market. The guest speaker typically gives one lecture on Friday evening, and is a regional expert in their field (ie. paleontology). Field Trips are led by professional archeologists, geologists, paleontologists, and more; field trips are limited in size. The pop-up market is typically 10+ vendors selling rock specimens, jewelry, and arts and crafts; food vendors; and educational booths with free children’s activities.
