Neskaupstaður Residency

Epicenter Principal Maria Sykes has been invited to reside in Neskaupstaður (pop. 1400), Iceland, for one month as a designer-in-residence working alongside local residents, visiting designers, and regional Austurland (East Iceland) partners. This residency is the continuation of a long-term relationship and a continued exchange amongst rural practitioners and residents.

Melon Days

Melon Days is an annual festival held in September for over 100 years in the town of Green River, Utah, home of delicious watermelons, cantaloupe, honeydew, and more. Look for Epicenter amongst the vendors in the park where we'll be selling Green River flags and hosting a story-sharing (audio and visual) booth!

Tristan Wheelock is a Florida based freelance photographer who specializes in documentary, travel, and portraiture. He discovered photography shortly after college during an assignment that had him crossing the U.S. while living in a van with a street magician. Serendipity led him to India and he's been traveling ever since.
