Rural-To-Rural Exchange: Lyons, NE

Taking advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday break, AmeriCorps VISTA Jarod Hamm and Epicenter Principal Maria Sykes will be traveling by train to Nebraska to visit The Center for Rural Affairs (Director: Brian Depew) and Jamie Horter (rural artist, M12 cohort member, and future Epicenter Frontier). During their week in Lyons (and surroundings), Maria and Jarod will engage in a rural-to-rural exchange through a presentation for local leaders, conversations, a walking feedback tour of Lyons, and by gathering lessons learned in from Lyons to bring back to Green River.
